Handwoven Circa 1970s entirely from premium Wool, this authentic vintage Beni Ourain Moroccan piece is a celebration of uninhibited, human-made tribal expression. Set against an intensely plush cream canvas, the weaver crafted a completely irregular, beautifully wobbly earthy brown diamond framework. Inside the shapes, she added quirky, floating abstract symbols. If you look closely, you will even discover tiny, random flecks of bright green, red, and yellow yarn tucked into the pile just because she felt like it. I saw this rug many months ago and loved the pattern so much! I needed it in a runner size which was not listed as an option. Time passed and I kept thinking about this rug and just could not find anything else that was as perfect for my space as this rug with the beautiful and vibrant colors.
